Search needs a word you already know. Browsing does not.
Each topic below is a short, hand-written list of public Telegram channels and groups. 54 of them across 3 topics — a starting point, not the whole index.
Topics
- Technology26 channelsAI, programming, cybersecurity, cloud and technology news. A mix of read-only channels and groups you can post in, so you can follow along or ask a question.
- Crypto & finance14 channelsBitcoin news, DeFi, trading signals, on-chain analytics and market updates. Includes exchange announcement channels, which is where listing and maintenance news usually lands first.
- News & media14 channelsWorld news, business, politics and breaking stories. Mostly channels run by wire services and newspapers, so you can follow headlines without installing their apps.
Being written next: Gaming, Business, Education, Entertainment and Sports. Those pages do not exist yet, so they are not linked. Until they do, search reaches those subjects across the full index.
What is on a topic page
A name, the @handle, and a few sentences on what it posts. Where we could establish who is behind a channel, the entry says so — the organisation itself, somebody reposting it, or a government. Where we could not, it says nothing rather than guessing. Every name opens straight in Telegram.
These lists are chosen by hand and they are small on purpose. They are not ranked, not sponsored, and not a safety check — being listed here says a channel is public and active, nothing more. For everything beyond these 54 entries, use search.
Looking for something not listed here
Search covers the whole index, which is far larger than these three lists.
